- 3 Year 10 students attended a 2 day ‘Heath Science’ event looking at the different careers available in the Healthcare and Engineering profession.
- 7 Year 10s have successfully been accepted on a ‘Dangerous Science’ residential that will involve using specialist Science equipment at the University.
- 2 Year 10 students attended a Residential ‘Motivation’ Summer School where they were given opportunity to see the range of subjects available at University and have lots of activities both academic and social.
The Year 10 cohort for the Vocational programme (9 students) took part in a residential at Easter at routes Aberystwyth University and there is a follow up residential in the Summer holidays at Lancaster. Again this year we have strengthened the relationship with our local universities and this is especially evident in our students participation at the University of Liverpool’s residential and Summer term programmes.
